Fraser Communications Ltd exists to support effective communications between our clients in the restaurant and food industry, PR professionals, editorial and media contacts and journalists. As such we are fundamentally a business about people and that means we handle personal information.
Data protection is a high priority for us and always has been. The new data protection law known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has been on our radar for some time and we want you to know that we do not sell, rent or trade email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes.
We collect and process journalist data for our legitimate interest in providing services which help journalists and our clients work with each other. These services serve the interests of both our clients, who wish to share information about the organisations they represent, and journalists who wish to keep informed on what is happening in the sectors they cover. This is known as media relations and is a well-established practice.
We do not collect any information from you when you visit our website.
We sometimes use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver relevant information to journalists, editorial and media contacts, bloggers or sector influencers. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-press releases. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails via MailChimp or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
This policy has been revised in May 2018 and will be reviewed annually.—
